Xiaomi 13: Leaks and Rumours
According to a moniker that has been spotted on Weibo by Digital Chat Station, the series is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset from Qualcomm. The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.2-inch display with a 2K screen resolution that will be an upgrade over what Xiaomi 12 offered. The Xiaomi 13 is expected to have 120W fast charging and a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS powered by a Sony IMX 8-series image sensor. The series will have Leica-based cameras. The Xiaomi 13 Pro is expected to have a 1-inch sensor for the main camera. All the phones in the series are speculated to run Android 13-based MIUI 14. Some design renders have also leaked online that hint towards a flat edge design and a flat display. The rear camera hump has sensors arranged in a triangle diagonally, similar to iPhone 14. However, what Xiaomi will do with the naming of the series still remains a mystery. Xiaomi 13 Series is expected to launch in December 2022.
