The Samsung TV Plus is an ad-supported service that does not require any external device configuration to get started with. Unlike the other OTT subscriptions, Samsung TV Plus doesn’t ask for signup with email or credit card details either.  The service will be readily available on Samsung Smart TVs launched in 2017 or later and on Galaxy smartphones running Android 8.0 or newer. The TV service for mobile devices will start later in April and users will need to download the Samsung TV Plus app from Samsung Galaxy Store and the Google Play Store. The Samsung TV Plus will allow users to watch select free live TV channels and content across the world without any paid subscription. Currently, there are only 27 channels available in India from genres like entertainment, news, sports, music, and travel. However, going forward, Samsung promises to bring more content partners on board.
