The iQOO Z5 is confirmed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset which we had reported earlier. The phone will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage system. The company claims to provide 40% improved CPU and GPU performance when compared to the iQOO Z3. The phone could get up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB built-in memory. Upfront, the phone will get a display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and is expected to be upgraded to an AMOLED panel compared to FHD+ in iQOO Z3. The to-be-announced phone is said to boast a 5000mAh battery with support of 55W fast charge support. The renders that appeared on Weibo suggest the iQOO Z5 to ship with three colour shades of Black, White, and Blue-Purple gradient. The device could run iQOO UI custom skin based on Android 11.
