The revelation comes from a senior Director at Display Supply Chain Consultants, David Naranjo. According to the analyst, Google will employ LTPO OLED panels developed by Samsung Display. Both the phones Pixel Fold and Pixel 6 Pro will be equipped with displays to offer variable refresh rates. As per rumours, Google Pixel Fold is in development with the alias name ‘passport’. The company has previously stated that they are working on a blueprint of a foldable smartphone meant for in-house purposes. Now, the speculation of its arrival is making headlines and the smartphone industry is expecting a big change. The Pixel Fold is tipped to sport a 7.6-inch display for its main screen i.e. when unfolded. The company could offer stock Android OS. On the other hand, Pixel 6 Pro is anticipated to be powered by Google’s Tensor SoC.
